Someone like YOU!

I'm a Chicago transplant, originally from Omaha, and I've been living here for about two years. I have a great job that's very intellectually stimulating, but it's far out in the north suburbs and did I mention it's the computer business? I love my co-workers, but I'm looking for some action outside of the office.
I'm looking for someone sweet, easygoing, friendly, preferably a night person. Someone who enjoys going out and trying new things. I'm a 9-5 kind of guy (actually 10-6), my life is good M-F, so weekend dates would be my style. I love trying new foods, korean bbq is my favorite Chicago thing (deep dish is so overrated!). Latest finds are Hopleaf and Walker bros pancake house... apple pancake. Also, I also enjoy cooking. My ideal date would be to cook at home, and then go out for a movie afterwards. Traveling is what I like to do on vacation time. I've been dreaming of a trip, flying to Seattle and driving to Vancouver.

Essay

My most embarrassing moment was when: I jumped into a pit of shit at my grandma's house in Japan. It was covered with hay, so I thought, "Hey why not, I love jumping into hay." My grandma then yelled me and called me an idiot.

My radio dial is usually tuned to: 103.5 Kiss FM. I think I'm the only one of my friends that knows all the latest songs. (#2 would be NPR.)

If I could change one thing about Chicago, it would be: Widen the highways!!! Why is I-94 3 lanes? It needs to be 6. (Or at add more train lines.)

The first thing I look at in the Reader is: Savage Love :)

The last concert I went to was: No Doubt. It was awesome!

My favorite tv show to watch as a kid was: X-Files

Fill in the Blank

If you have a pet, it better not be you!

Dessert is my favorite way to end an evening.

The quickest way to my heart is a homecooked meal The quickest way to my bed is the elevator and in the morning, I like my eggs cooked sunny side up

Korean food makes me sweat.

Two things I can't live without are friends and family

It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not sleeping, I'm eating breakfast.

I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are constant phoning and mental anguish

My ideal mate has the brain of bonobo and the body of tiny fey
