Seeking partner in crime.
I tend to be modest, so it is a bit difficult to "stroke my own ego" in an ad as such. However, I do have a pretty strong sense of personal identity, so I'll try to get that across to the best of my ability for you. If interested, please feel free to send me a message :)
About me: I just graduated law school in May and recently found out that I passed the bar exam - a HUGE weight off of my shoulders! So, now I'm licensed and working for free. Awesome. But, aside from my very boring sounding profession (which I must say that I love) and my incredibly logical/structured persona, I also have a strong artsy and playful, child-like/risk-taker side to my personality which I love to let out of the cage. I tend to be an old soul, which I suppose comes from the many crazy experiences (triumphs and mistakes collectively) I've had thus far in my almost 28 years, but find that I have a natural curiosity that keeps me wanting to learn more about EVERYTHING.
I love to read everything and anything from chick lit, to novels that have been labeled "classics," to fantasy/sci-fi that falls on the side of being slightly sophisticated. I drink coffee every day. Even decaf...it is more about the taste for me, not the caffeine. I have been really into practicing yoga lately and volunteer at a studio one day a week - hoping to inspire other aspects of my life towards wellness. I love college football, love going to concerts of all kinds, love playing softball, watching ballgames, cooking, and love being able to sit with someone without talking and just be comfortable.
All in all, I was raised to be a nice girl. Someone that is incredibly honest, genuine, caring, trusting, and forgiving. I have a great group of friends in Chicago and across the country (as I am not from the city or surrounding suburbs), and I care for my family and my cat very dearly.
My most embarrassing moment was when: in fourth grade, I attempted to walk on a pond that was muddied over and sank down into the pond up to my thighs in front of the boy I had a crush on and all of his friends. They offered me tree branches to pull me out of the mud.
One thing people are surprised to find out about me is: my above average knowledge of domestic skills: canning jam/pickles, sewing, cooking, etc.....my church-going childhood with sunday school and all....also that I don't throw "like a girl."
The first thing I look at in the Reader is: early warnings, savage love, literary events.
My hottest feature is: hair that sometimes makes me look like wolverine when I wake up.
My favorite tv show to watch as a kid was: Punky Brewster.
If you have a pet, it better not be a bird
wine is my favorite way to end an evening.
The quickest way to my heart is by amusing me The quickest way to my bed is with a kiss on the shoulder and in the morning, I like my eggs cooked overeasy with corned beef hash
yoga makes me sweat.
Two things I can't live without are coffee and sunshine
It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not sleeping, I'm trudging to a diner for breakfast
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are bigots and liars
