I walked in late, talking on the phone, an hour before close. You sat by the window, your back facing the entrance. You looked at me, but didn't say anything. I saw you and rode with you on the # 15 bus north bound to the red line. We boarded the train at 47th northbound. We set in the same row on the train but on opposing sides. There was a nice stare of admiration between the two of us when I boarded the bus and again just before I departed the train at Harrison. A tickled smile even broke at that point. We almost spoke as I tried to engage a little bit as a panhandler also seeked your attention when we first boarded the train. You are a very attractive a dark skinned African gentleman wearing a maroon and gold scarf You were wearing jeans and black shoes. I know you live or lived in France because this is what the panhandler got out of you. I was a shorter coffee skinned African American girl wearing a grey hat with sparklies and a grey puffer coat.

Just today on the afternoon train, I was making my way down from the top level when I turned and saw you on the opposite side. You had short black hair and charming eyes (were they blue or green?), and were wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. You had been talking to the guy across from you, but had then stopped and looked back at me (I was the girl with long black hair and dark brown eyes, wearing a maroon hoodie and blue jeans).
You were getting off at Naperville, while I was holding the door. I don't know which one of us stared first - all I remember is that our eyes locked for the longest 5 seconds of my life, before I looked away. By the time I turned back, you had already left.

I was a little pissed that I didn't see you until we were about to get off the bus.. it was so crowded and I was way in the back... I stood up and man.. I couldn't stop looking.. I was counting piercings.. and with each one I was hoping you would look up and see me. I couldn't get your attention because I was with the boys. the more I counted the more I started noticing every other dope thing about you...the hair, your eyes, my god those lips..you were just...not perfect, but so close to it that it made me feel like whatever flaws were there, were meant to be to simply balance you out..
