| South Michigan and Van Buren |
You had a 40-watt frown and tired eyes sipping bubble tea in the sushi-to-go window. Your newspaper didn't obscure a pale pretty face. I exchanged meaningful glances, but you miscontrued I was looking at my vain reflection. I had a maroon light swab of sweater. You had Asian black hair like a crow.

| Fullerton bus man, what happened? |
I miss seeing you on the Fullerton bus in the mornings. You got on at Western or Campbell, I think, at about 7 in the morning. You have dark hair and eyes. You wore a navy peacoat with the collar flipped up, and those little sailor anchors on the buttons. Sometimes you wore an olive green beanie. I saw you mostly through the winter, sometimes even on the way home. But I saw you a lot a few weeks ago, every morning almost, on your way to the Fullerton Red Line stop, where you would take, I think, the Purple or Brown line north, and I would take the Red line south, and my heart would go express to my ankles. Do I sound like a crazy stalker? I just make a lot of observations. Anyway, I don't see you on the bus anymore. I haven't seen you since the day you sat down and I sat next to you, just to see if anything would happen. It was nice sitting next to you.

| METROPOLIS Coffee Shop May 8 |
We exchanged glances, but I was too nervous to approach you. Then we smiled at each other as you walked out and I was standing near the door talking with some friends. I can't believe at this age I'd still be so nervous to go over and talk with a beautiful woman.

| Searching for Mercer Island Girl |
I saw you on Tuesday night, around 7pm, walking from N. State St. on Grand Ave. You had long brown hair and were wearing red. I have short brown hair, glasses, and was wearing a black shirt. I was walking with a group of librarian friends. You and I talked for a minute about both being from Washington State (you from Mercer Island and me from Edmonds) and that I work in a library downtown. I forgot to give you my number. Would you like to talk again?

| Million-Dollar Smile, Tom Cruise look-alike |
You are a "blue collar" guy who was working at a 2nd floor condo at the corner of Paulina/ Waveland and I was walking with a 75# English Bulldog named Otis when u spotted us and had a million-dollar smile and was definitely good-looking. You stooped down to pet Otis and mentioned that he was a "big boy", then headed back up the steps to finish packing up your equipment as Otis and I was headed up to the 1st level. Since the two of us were working we kind of went our separate ways plus I wasn't sure if I was your type. I don't discriminate, especially when a man is good looking and I am kicking myself in the rear for not "flirting" hard enough. U drove a navy blue van without windows and I walked across the street to a green Stratus. I believe your line of work has something to do with cleaning floors/ carpeting because u had on "surgical booties" (to possible keep the flooring spotless) that you took off and laid on the bottom steps to the building. Anyway, you are fine and your million dollar smile definitely made my day! If that doesn't help you to remember, I was the slender sister with medium brown hair, a black short-sleeve top and blue jeans, walking a big English Bulldog. I can't remember exactly what you were wearing, besides that million dollar smile of yours, but I think blue jeans and a short sleeve shirt. You put me in the mind of a young Tom Cruise. Another hint, your client was leaving at the same time as you and his name is Chris, who also happens to have a Bulldog.

| Saw you, Red Line |
I saw you on the Red Line from 35th to Jackson and then I got off. We exchanged glances quite a few times and a couple of smiles in between the many people packed on the bus after the White Sox game. You had amazing brown eyes and an amazing smile. Your arms screamed from many hours in the gym as you were holding on to the rail. You were wearing a tan short sleeve shirt and very short hair, majorly buff. I was tall, blond ponytail with white sweater and red blouse, jeans. You waved goodbye as I got off the bus and I never wanted to leave and we continued eye contact until I could no longer see you. Wonder if destiny would have you read this post and allow me to meet you again.
